Term of Use

Effective date: 23/08/2026  |  Last updated: 23/08/2026

Welcome

These Terms govern your use of patthedog.pro (Site), operated by Pat the Dog Productions Pty. Ltd. trading as Pat the Dog Productions, (we, us). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information, not personal advice

The Site introduces our studio, projects, approach and services. Its content is general information only. It does not take account of your property, site conditions, budget, location, safety requirements or legal obligations and is not architectural, engineering, construction, financial or legal advice.

No designer-client relationship begins merely because you visit the Site, submit an enquiry or download material. A client relationship begins only when we accept a booking or both parties agree to a proposal or Client Services Agreement.

2. Services, availability and prices

Service descriptions, examples, availability, timing and prices on the Site may change. They are invitations to enquire, not an offer we are obliged to accept. A project is not confirmed until we send written confirmation and receive any required payment.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. Your proposal or booking confirmation will set out the final scope, price, revisions, timing and exclusions.

3. Visual and project content

Images, visualisations, moodboards, plans and project descriptions communicate ideas and design intent. They may include visualisations rather than completed photography. They are not guarantees of exact colour, texture, proportion, light, view, availability, price, construction outcome or suitability for another property.

Do not build, order or install anything based solely on Site content. Measurements, quantities, samples, technical details, site conditions and legal requirements must be checked by appropriate local professionals before purchase or work.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Site and its content—including our name, copy, concepts, photographs, visualisations, drawings, layouts and graphics—are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property laws.

You may view the Site and share a link for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, republish, scrape, modify, sell, remove credits from, use in another project, or use Site content to train an artificial-intelligence system without our written permission.

Third-party names, products, artworks and images remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Material you send us

If you send an enquiry, image, plan, comment or other material, you promise that you have permission to do so. You grant us a limited licence to use that material to respond to you, assess the enquiry, provide requested services, keep appropriate business records and protect our legal rights.

Submitting material does not give us permission to publish it. Portfolio or testimonial use requires separate permission.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Site unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes another person's rights;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with security or overload the Site;

  • harvest personal information, send spam or impersonate another person;

  • use automated tools to extract substantial Site content without written permission; or

  • submit material that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, deceptive or infringing.

We may restrict access or remove submitted material where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, users or our rights.

7. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to suppliers, publications, social platforms, scheduling, payment and other third-party services. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily mean endorsement. Third parties control their content, availability, security, products and terms.

8. Site availability and security

We take reasonable care in operating the Site but do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of it for maintenance, security, legal or business reasons.

You are responsible for protecting your device, software and account credentials and for maintaining appropriate backups.

9. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Subject to those non-excludable rights and to the extent permitted by law:

  • we do not warrant that general Site content is suitable for your particular project or location;

  • we are responsible for loss that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or negligence; and

  • we are not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general Site content instead of project-specific advice and appropriate professional verification, or by a third-party site or service outside our reasonable control.

10. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookie Notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used by the Site. Use the Cookie Preferences control to change non-essential cookie choices at any time.

11. Changes

We may update the Site or these Terms. The current Terms apply from the effective date shown above. A change does not retrospectively alter a separate client agreement already in force unless that agreement permits it or both parties agree.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of that place, subject to any mandatory rights available to you under the law of another jurisdiction.
